I am sure I looked like a total nerd while floating in the spring head at Madison Blue Springs, in Madison County. Even on the hottest of days it takes some time to get into the cold blue water of the spring head. I pressed my mask in place and mouthed the awkwardly big rubber snorkel. My cheep, but free, digital camera strapped safely to my wrist. Once wet and ready to plunge, I hung over a blue fun noodle and pushed my way off the slick mossy steps. My mask fogged up quick and the camera lens did too. So the mask and snorkel came off and for every two pictures underwater the camera needed to come up to defog. But none of that matters when you're in heaven.
